Day 14 - Rest Day

May need a day to allow myself to fully recover. Decided to go and explore the Chunchankatte Falls and the temples around the Kaveri River. The photos of the Falls had me sold better than a picture of a Big Mac on a Maccas menu. However, it was reduced to a gentle stream. Should of learnt from TLC and not to chase those waterfalls.

Crazy how quickly it has dried up considering it was at capacity only 2 months ago.

The pollution is something you can't escape in India - the washing with detergents of clothes and bodies - the floating rubbish down the streams -  it's frustrating but understandable with the lack of education.

Starved off this little bug and feeling back in form. Found the famous Sree Hotel - it was packed - always a good sign. A vegetarian restaurant - went around to the tables pointing to the waiter what he was having as had no idea the names.

Played some cricket in th eafternoon. Vintage Tommy was in great form. Flicking the pie chuckers all round the ground. Amazed me how everyone threw the ball. It also is the first game of cricket I've seen played during the whole trip. Football seems to be growing in its popularity... Messi and Ronaldo. True global superstars.
