Day 25: Kottaiyur to Mettur

Distance: 25km

The temperature has definitely turned up a notch since arriving in Tamil Nadu - feels like I'm walking on the sun right now.

The heat didn't stop me playing a bit of competitive volleyball and cricket. Was awesome to mix up my physical activities other than walking. There is always so much room for activities! However probably wasn't my smartest idea given this little niggle in my left leg.

 Always...

Always...

I haven't eaten any meat in almost 10 days now - I am absolutely Hank Marvin for a $10 Rump Steak with Mushroom Sauce. Whilst it wasn't a rump steak and I'm not quite sure it was beef - it was like the heavens heard me as I passed this man deep frying mystery meat on the side of the road. After much confusion - his charade skills came out to play and he made the "Moo" noise with some antenna ears. Surely cow?

Either way - it was deep fried goodness - mum always said that if it was deep fried and the paper turns clear, its your window to goodness! Or maybe that was Dr. Nick?

As I approached Mettur I wasn't paying much attention and missed my turn off. It was only a slight degree but found myself quickly off track.

This can happen in your own life - In Australia I found myself looking at people on the streets and would wonder about their own crossroad decision they have had to make - their sliding door moment when their life could have resulted in a new path. Life is full of these moments.

Whilst you can make some horrible decisions - Guilty! - It is important to realise that you always have the ability to turn your life around with each beautifully awesome decision you make.

"We define ourselves far too often by our past failures. That’s not you. You are this person right now. You’re the person who has learned from those failures. Build confidence and momentum with each good decision you make from here on out and choose to be inspired." - Joe Rogan

Always Be A Legend. Firstly, and importantly, be a legend to yourself and the biggest legend to those around you. You can wake up today and be that legend in your story. That legend you want to be.
